True TF7 Skate Boot Jr

The True TF7 boot just may be the best value in hockey right now. It’s very similar to the top end boot, but with painted fiberglass instead of exposed carbon fiber, a different tongue and a different liner. It’s only a few grams heavier than the TF9 and slightly less stiff. Nothing else compares to this boot at this price point.
The boots use a speed skate inspired, one-piece fiberglass and thermoplastic shell design that molds around the foot and provides more efficient energy transfer than traditional two-piece boots.
The TF7 boots are designed to be baked and you’ll only really appreciate the comfort and fit after they’ve been properly heat-molded. Unlike other boots, the baking isn’t only to help speed up break in time, the thermoformable material actually changes shape and wraps around your feet.
Comfort is further enhanced by the multi-density ankle pads in the Blackwick nylon liner. Fit inserts for the insole to accommodate low, mid, and high arch feet and a removable, adjustable felt tongue provide more opportunities to dial in the skates according to your needs and preferences.
We’re also allowing you to go a step further and add the popular Kryptonium Hi-Lo chassis or innovative Marsblade R1 roller hockey or O1 off-ice chassis that uses Flow Motion Technology - a unique rocker that can be customized to players skating style and improves all aspects of skating, including more power and speed, quicker turns, better grip and control. We’ll professionally install your choice of chassis onto the TF7 boots.
Marsblade R1 Junior conversions will use a size small chassis. Kryptonium Junior conversions will use a small/medium chassis.
You can then choose to add wheels and bearings to the cart or use some you already own and you’ll have a unique high-end skate where you’ve chosen the components that work best for your game. The R1 small chassis uses two 72mm wheels and two 68mm wheels; you’d need four of each size. The recommended wheel sizes for Junior Kryptonium conversions are either 76mm/72mm or 72mm/68mm (you’d need four wheels of each size).
These conversions will be based on ice boots we special order; so please allow 1.5-2 weeks for the boots to come in and for us to carefully mount your chassis of choice.
- Thermoformable fiberglass one-piece shell featuring TRUESHELL technology
- Blackwick Nylon Liner
- Adjustable felt tongue
- Each set of footbeds comes with adjustable arch inserts that will accommodate low, medium and high arch feet with the perfect amount of support.
Sizing: Based on feedback from users and experienced fitters; the general consensus is to drop down a half size in the True boots vs. Bauer and Mission. This fit may feel too small before baking, but they open up quite a bit after being properly molded to your foot. Please contact us if you need further help determining your size for a performance fit.
