Marsblade has two types of inline frames that utilize Flow Motion Technology. The concept allows you to rock forward and backward as your weight shifts. This allows for more maneuverability and full stride extension. Both frames offer a more ice-like and fluid feel than a traditional flat chassis.

The O1 chassis is the original Marsblade model designed as an off-ice training tool. An adjustable bolt allows you to change the amount of motion. The O1 provides a challenging off-ice workout with an ice-like feel. 

The R1 chassis is designed to offer better performance for roller hockey players. The rocker enables all 4-wheels to stay in contact with the surface longer to improve all aspects of skating vs. a flat chassis, including increased power and speed as well as better grip and control. The bottom part of the chassis is made of alloy which makes the R1 a little lighter, stronger and more responsive than the fully resin based O1. The R1 rocker feel can also be customized with 4 different inserts.  

Using the O1 is a great way to train muscles for hockey when you can't get on the ice. The R1 is better for playing competitive roller hockey, with larger wheels and slightly less rocking motion.

Marsblade installation is FREE when you get the boots and frames with us. If you provide the boots, installation is $69+tax. The average turn-around for installation is 1-3 business days, but can be a little longer during the busy season. Ask us for a timeline!
